Business Advisors
Daniel Krug is eager to assist and advise Northwest Florida’s manufacturing community about FloridaMakes services and opportunities through involvement with the Northwest Florida Manufacturers Council (NWFMC) and The Emerald Coast Manufacturers and Engineering Network (TeCMEN).
Daniel is a 22 ½-year veteran of the United States Air Force. He served most of his career in the RF Transmissions Systems and Cyberspace Support career fields. He also served in positions including Munitions Maintenance, Air Force Recruiter, Maintenance Control and Production, and Quality Control and Inspection. As a manager, he exercised control and leadership of a multi-organizational inspection team where he led in-depth management, safety, and compliance inspections. During his last four years of active duty, he served as an Instructor, Instructor Supervisor, and Element Chief at the Air Force’s Technical Training School located at Fort Gordon, GA.
For the past three years, Daniel has worked for the University of West Florida in the Information Technology Academy as a Technical Coordinator and Instructor, teaching or assisting with CompTIA’s A+, Network+ and Security+ programs, and Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) Windows Server 2012 program. He currently holds IT industry certifications in CompTIA’s A+ and Network +, and Microsoft Windows 7 Configuration.
Daniel has a bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University with honors, Magna Cum Laude, in applied science, with a concentration in computer information systems. He has completed 33 of 36 hours towards a master’s degree in information systems.

Mary Nutial is a Business Advisor supporting FloridMakes Manufacturing Clients in the Northwest Florida portion of the state. She has almost 30 years of experience in manufacturing, which included 15 years with Textron and 10 years with BOSCH. During her career, she has had the opportunity to be in leadership roles in areas such as plant operations, quality systems, plant layout, safety and environmental compliance, capital equipment and building projects, lean transformation, workforce development, organizational structure, ERP implementation, and product service / warranty.
Mary really enjoys problem solving and continuous improvement. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, a Master’s degree in Organizational Management, and is a certified Textron Six Sigma Black Belt.
