Paul Miller, Program Manager

Paul Miller (Michael Spooneybarger, UWF Division of Research and Strategic Innovation)Paul Miller has been a non-profit executive and business professional with a diverse background in research and development, process and project management, grant-writing, innovation, adult education, safety and operations. He has leveraged his expertise in the areas of process and business development, learning styles, marketing, sales, communication and support, to help clients improve efficiency and growth.

He concentrates on transferrable skill-sets in diverse fields with clients who are in transition, from high school, the military, or to a new career.

Paul started his working life on farms and in restaurants learning how to plan and execute in an environment where every action is a customer service interaction and believes that should be the same no matter what your endeavor.

Paul has majors in History and Organizational Management from USF and Keuka College.

A native Floridian, he and his wife have recently transplanted back to Florida after 25 years in New York to live closer to their son and daughter-in-law. He intensely hates the cold, and is very happy to be home.

Daniel Krug, Senior Business Advisor

Daniel KrugDaniel Krug is eager to assist and advise Northwest Florida’s manufacturing community about FloridaMakes services and opportunities through involvement with the Northwest Florida Manufacturers Council (NWFMC) and the Technology Coast Manufacturing and Engineering Network (TeCMEN).

Daniel is a 22 ½-year veteran of the United States Air Force. He served most of his career in the RF Transmissions Systems and Cyberspace Support career fields. He also served in positions including Munitions Maintenance, Air Force Recruiter, Maintenance Control and Production, and Quality Control and Inspection. As a manager, he exercised control and leadership of a multi-organizational inspection team where he led in-depth management, safety, and compliance inspections. During his last four years of active duty, he served as an Instructor, Instructor Supervisor, and Element Chief at the Air Force’s Technical Training School located at Fort Gordon, GA.

For the past three years, Daniel has worked for the University of West Florida in the Information Technology Academy as a Technical Coordinator and Instructor, teaching or assisting with CompTIA’s A+, Network+ and Security+ programs, and Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) Windows Server 2012 program. He currently holds IT industry certifications in CompTIA’s A+ and Network +, and Microsoft Windows 7 Configuration.

Daniel has a bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University with honors, Magna Cum Laude, in applied science, with a concentration in computer information systems. He has completed 33 of 36 hours towards a master’s degree in information systems.
